V has always dreamt of being a writer, except for that brief 7-year-old moment of wanting to be a vet. As a teenager, her passion was fantasy, but as she got older, her interests evolved to include many other genres. Her goal is to write among all the genres that she is passionate about, including mystery, supernatural, fantasy, non-fiction, and faith to name a few. She’s always taken pride in not fitting into any box and V’s not going to be typecast into one now in her writing.

V lives in southern Indiana with her husband, three children, two golden retrievers, and her cat. She loves the outdoors, taking walks, discovering new stories, and creating a massive library of her own. The only thing she loves more than writing are her kids. V credits them with making her the writer she is today, because they made her wiser, stronger, and more passionate. In them, she has the strength to not only write but write with purpose.

Her first book was a poster child to what she hopes to achieve, but with the side mission of showing her children that dreams are worth fighting for. All of her children have big names, powerful and full of expectation; not because V or her husband demand the world of them, though. Their names are building blocks to achieving their own wishes. When her first born expressed doubt he would do great things, V realized she couldn’t just tell him that he would, but she had to show him. Life had gotten away from her and time had kept on ticking. So, she decided to show him by finally putting her money where her mouth is and publishing her first book.
